Four Tomball ISD construction projects to be funded by the district’s $494.46 million bond— approved by voters in 2021—reached their next phases at the Feb. 13 TISD board meeting. In a nutshell One of the main projects discussed at the Feb. 13 meeting was the renovation of Tomball High School’s Career and Technical Education class- rooms. Trustees unanimously approved—with board Assistant Secretary Michael J. Pratt absent—the $8.38 million general contractor agreement with Millennium Project Solutions. The CTE classrooms will be built inside the school’s former agriculture center, and renderings of the project will be presented at an upcoming meeting, Superintendent Martha Salazar-Zamora said. The renovation will have an overall budget of $10 million, according to meeting documents.
