With a combination of business experience and a passion for wine, founder of Vintage Wine Storage Gabe Anderson uncorked aordable wine storage options with a few perks in September. Some context Anderson said he founded Vintage Wine Storage with the idea that it would be a cost-eective substitute for a home wine cellar, with optimal cellar standards and accommodations to t any price point. “Vintage Wine provides Austin wine enthusiasts and acionados alike with exclusive services that will simultaneously transform their collection process while providing full-service, premium oerings,” Anderson said. The details Regardless of which storage locker is chosen, Anderson said all of them are insulated, and come with climate and humidity control. “The lockers are set at a constant temperature of 55 degrees and 60-70% humidity, with backup generators in the event of an outage,” Anderson said. “This preserves each bottle’s avor, aroma and quality, which ensures the wine remains in optimal conditions.” Lockers come in sizes ranging from 24-320 cases for standard, or 24-160 cases for premier with vary- ing price points. Sta manage the premier lockers’ wine inventory with a special computer program, and the client gets a free delivery or pick-up each month. What else? Complimentary perks with all lockers include daily visitation logs by sta, and the option to have bottles shipped directly to Vintage Wine Storage. Once received, Anderson said sta will inspect, log and place the bottles into the client’s locker. Climate-controlled delivery options from lockers to anywhere within a 40-mile radius of the facility are also available. What’s special about it? An on-site tasting room aords the opportunity to pop a bottle from the client’s private collection, which can be retrieved by sta who will provide glasses and a bottle opener.
