The Montgomery County Food Bank is hosting its 10th annual Shoot Out Hunger event, a charity clay-shooting tournament. (Courtesy Taylorized PR) FEATURED EVENT Sept. 11: Observe 9/11 The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park will host a 9/11 observance event that will begin at the moment the rst attack occurred at The World Trade Center in 2001. The event honors the rst responders who died on 9/11. A rst responder ag will be lowered at 8:30 a.m. at the entrance to the park, and Jimmie Edwards, chairperson of the Montgomery County Veterans Commission, will speak at 8:40 a.m. A moment of silence will follow at 8:59 a.m. 1776 Freedom Blvd., Conroe. https://mcvetmemorialpark.org
