The beer garden expansion includes the addition of a venue where the brewery hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Faust Brewing Co. also plans to open a coee shop on the property. “Our motto is that if you can brew it, we’re going to have it,” White said. “With the liquor license and the coee shop, we can do a lot more specialty drinks [at] the bar, so that’s exciting.”

for its beer grew so much that it had to build an o-site production brewery at 499 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels. Owner Vance Hinton—who was a frequent vacationer to New Braunfels—decided to move to the city and purchased the Faust Hotel and brewery in 2009. The microbrewery continued to operate inside the hotel until Hinton sold it in May 2022, making the loca- tion down the street the brewing company’s ocial new home. In 2016, the brewery opened its taproom but only sold beer and
April 1, 2023. The brewery con- tinued producing and selling beer wholesale during that time. Since reopening, the brewing company has renovated its tasting room and added a liquor license. The microbrewery also added a food trailer that serves customers in its tasting room and beer gar- den—which has tripled in size—until the brick-and-mortar restaurant is complete. “We are in [the] permitting pro- cess right now with the city of New Braunfels for permits to build in our restaurant. So as soon as we get
