5 Grogans Mill left-turn lane extension Project: Montgomery County Precinct 3 is working with contractor Teamwork Construction to extend the northbound Grogans Mill Road left-turn lane at North Millbend Drive. Update: The project began in early October. It will provide additional turn-lane storage at the intersection to help reduce trac congestion during peak hours, according to a news release. • Timeline: October-November • Cost: $266,562 • Funding source: Montgomery County Precinct 3

Update: The portion within Conroe city limits will be completed when funding is secured. • Timeline: September 2023-July 2024 • Cost: $7.8 million • Funding sources: city of Shenandoah, city of Conroe, Montgomery County 4 Hwy. 242 widening Project: The Texas Department of Transportation will use existing right of way on Hwy. 242 between FM 1488 and I-45 to widen lanes and restripe the intersections. 6 Research Forest Drive improvements Project: Montgomery County Precinct 3 repaired a portion of Research Forest Drive near New Trails Drive where infrastructure damage occurred due to erosion.
