After becoming the sole proprietor, Shawn Teague rebranded the beverage stop—adding a number of items to the menu.

Tipsy Tuber serves up snow cones and mixed cocktails Shawn Teague worked in Houston at a law rm for over 30 years. Now, she’s a rst-time business owner after taking ownership of the Tipsy Tuber back in March. “I never thought that I’d be making snow cones for a living,” Teague said. The most popular items on the menu are the to-go margaritas and house-made cocktails. She added dirty sodas to the menu, which are made with a soda base and customized with dierent syrups and avors. Teague also added food items in an eort to make the shop more family-friendly. Notable quote While Teague said that becoming a rst-time business owner has had her “anxiety through the roof,” it has been a fun experience. “I went from the corporate world to doing something like this, and I love it,” she said.
