One business has already opened in Cherry Peak Phase 2—Eaddy Cosmetic Dentistry. The practice has been around since 1998 and previously operated out of a space at Lakeside Commons, but when owner Daniel Eaddy was informed by a real estate agent of spaces opening at Cherry Peak, he took advantage of the opportunity. “[I] was able to customize what I wanted for my dental o ce—you know, with dentistry it requires a lot of specialized plumbing and electrical,” Eaddy said. “We were able to get all the architectural and engineering plans done before the slab was poured.” Eaddy said he was excited by Cherry Peak’s medical community and the business opportuni- ties it may provide. “I’m excited to have some other providers in here soon,” Eaddy said. “It’d be nice to develop relationships with them and, hopefully, mutual bene cial relationships [with our patients].” While the center is close to the Lakeway
Other projects coming to the Lakeway Medical Village include Plastic Surgery of Austin, opening this fall, a representative of the business said. Additionally, The Overlook at Lakeway will bring a new 45,000-square-foot medical o ce building in its rst phase and a 24,000-square-foot o ce in its second, providing additional medical services for the growing region. Medical Village, it does not technically occupy space within the district zoned for medical use. Instead, Cherry Peak’s zoning is classi ed as retail, meaning that future tenants may include several nonmedical o ces as well. Other medical practices at the Cherry Peak business park include the recently opened primary care o ce DirectMed, as well as Gavino Dermatol- ogy, slated to open this fall.
