Our February “Student of the Month” is Haylee Shriver, a 5th grader at Clark Intermediate School. Her favorite part about school is seeing her friends and learning new things. She has two brothers and four dogs. Haylee absolutely loves dancing and playing volleyball. When Haylee joined The Tutoring Center in July 2018, she was struggling in math and as a result, school wasn’t fun. Fortunately, her parents found us on the internet and they scheduled a FREE
Diagnostic Assessment for Haylee. Even though she was behind in math, our program included getting her ready for 5th grade math plus filling in the skill gaps from prior years. The Tutoring Center’s fun, proven, unique, one-to-one instruction known as “The Rotational Approach to Learning” helps students from kindergarten to twelfth grade improve their confidence and self esteem while also strengthening their academic skills in math, reading and writing in order to succeed in school and life. For Haylee, her confidence is sky-high after jumping two full grade levels in math after only forty sessions! The Tutoring Center is now providing Haylee the one-to-one tutoring to get ahead in math. Haylee’s next goal is continuing to improve in all her subjects and making the A/B Honor Roll…way to go Haylee, we are very proud of you!
