BY HANNAH ZEDAKER The Howard Hughes Corp. announced the opening of Creekside Park The Residences at 26700 Kuykendahl Road, The Woodlands, in a news release Jan. 14. The first multifamily development in the Village of Creekside Park offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 600-1,398 square feet with rental rates ranging from $930-$1,962 per month. Each unit features quartz counter- tops, simulated wood flooring, stain- less steel appliances, walk-in closets, 9-foot ceilings, smart thermostats, and a washer and dryer, according to the release. Oak Ridge North approves design plans for Robinson Road expansion

Neeley relayed the city Economic Development Corporation’s plans to investigate the costs of renovat- ing the restroom facility at Marilyn Edgar Park and installing an iron gate structure at the entrance to Teddy Bear Park on Robinson Road to replace the existing chain barrier. The council supported the EDC seek- ing price quotes for both projects. Neeley also submitted a finalized contract covering the Oak Ridge Otters youth swim team’s usage of the city pool during its 2019 season. The contract allows the Otters to use the pool for a total of 225 hours from April through August for a total of $13,500 in usage, maintenance and operations fees.
