Musician Jeremy Parsons finds local inspiration
Jeremy Parsons, originally from San Antonio, said he first started pursuing music as a junior in high school. Can you tell me about your experience as a musician? It’s been a wild ride that I wouldn’t change for anything. I’ve been hungry, I’ve been broke, I’ve been heartbroken. ... I’ve put them all into songs to use as reminders that we don’t stay where we were. How would you describe the music that you typically create? I usually throw myself into an Americana or alternative country
realm ... and I always joke that the song tells me how it should sound. What is the message that you would like to give to the community? I can’t thank y’all enough for always supporting me, whether it’s coming to a show ... tipping me, commenting on my social media or streaming my music.
