JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION IN TAMINA

The “Ground on Which I Stand” event was held at the Sleepy Hollow Community Building on June 18.

Marti Corn, the photographer and author of the photo collection “The Ground on Which I Stand” published by Texas A&M Press, spoke about her experiences June 18.

In addition to singing and viewing the mobile exhibits, attendees took part in a picnic barbecue.
