THE ROUTE Protesters marched from Huston-Tillotson University to the Texas Capitol. Since the end of May, Austin has been gripped by demonstrations demanding changes in policing and solutions to systemic racism that protesters say has plagued the city’s black and Hispanic communities for generations.
