Annual rodeo event slated for March 2 22

Since 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has promoted agriculture and Western heritage. This year, Rodeo Houston will run from March 2-22, featuring 20 days

of competition in bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronco riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping and women’s barrel racing and breakaway roping.

Rodeo Houston Parade Watch decorative ˜oats and thousands of men and women on horseback ride through Downtown Houston. The parade route begins at Bagby and Walker streets and ends at Lamar and Bagby streets.

Champion Wine Garden

The wine garden features entertainment from rising Texan stars and more than 75 wines from the rodeo’s International Wine Competition. Visitors can purchase wine by the glass or bottle.
