Pumpkin patch at Rockin’ R Get in the seasonal spirit by attending the rst annual pumpkin patch at Rockin’ R in Gruene. The Little Pumpkin’s Play Patch for kids will feature a corn pit, a jump pad, scarecrow dressing, crafts, a picnic area, a bubble station and other games. ‘Deep in the Heart’ The Comal County Conservation Alliance will host “Deep in the Heart,” a lm showcasing Texas landscapes and diverse wildlife. The lm, which is narrated by Matthew McConaughey, also aims to highlight the importance of water, wildlife and Texas’ conservation. Downtown businesses and local nonprot 7th annual Dia de los Muertos Festival: A Celebration of Life and Culture The New Braunfels Chamber’s Hispanic Business Alliance will host its annual Dia de los Muertos Festival. There will be a variety of food, including street tacos, elote and more. Wurstfest The 62nd annual festival celebrates German culture with food, live music, dancing, carnival rides and games. Town hall meeting The Comal County Conservation Alliance and League of Women Voters of the Comal Area will hold a town hall meeting highlighting two amendments that, if passed, would invest $1 billion in developing new water sources for Proposition 6 and $1 billion in state parks for Proposition 14. • Oct. 10, 6-7:30 p.m. • Free • McKenna Events Center, 801 W.
