Holiday Bazaar Arts and Crafts Show The city of Round Rock will host the 21st annual Rockin’ Around the Holidays Bazaar at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. Vendors will sell handcrafted items right in time for the holidays. Light Up The Lake Round Rock’s annual Light Up the Lake is a two-day holiday festival at Old Settlers Park, taking place around the lake and festival area. The event will feature giant balloons over Bright Lake, live music on the new Lakeview Stage, a light show, and family

Author Talk: “How to Feed a Dictator” Polish journalist Witold Szabłowski will share stories from “How to Feed a Dictator,” exploring the lives of cooks who served history’s most infamous leaders. The Light Park This drive-thru Christmas light show features a nearly mile-long display of synchronized lights and festive holiday songs. Presenters use laser pointers to highlight celestial objects, and guests can view the night sky through telescopes or bring their own equipment. Chairs, blankets and snacks are permitted, but glass and dogs are not allowed in the athletic fields. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but pets and coolers are not permitted. Veterans Day Celebration The city of Round Rock will host its annual Veterans Day Celebration at the Flag Plaza at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park. The ceremony will feature guest speaker Alain Babin, a veteran and Round Rock’s former assistant police chief, as well as a representative from Army Futures Command.
