possible. Phase one will focus on utility relocation, resulting in closures at the intersection for around one month. Phase two is expected to be completed in summer 2026, which includes the actual construction of the roundabout. Construction is expected to take approximately 10-12 weeks. How we got here In 2022, Boerne voters approved $23 million in bond projects for street and mobility improvements.
Adler Road improvements approved
A bid to improve the low water crossings on Adler Road was approved during the May 13 Boerne City Council meeting. The details According to the meeting agenda, the two low water crossings on Adler Road at No Name Creek and Currey Creek are frequently overtopped, creating
unsafe conditions for the public and emergency services. The bid was awarded to Gage & Cade Con- struction, LLC, for around $4.76 million. The project is funded through the city, alongside a $1.5 million contribution from Kendall County. Construction for both culverts is expected to take 120 days, starting at Currey Creek.
