Italian, pizzerias trend in NE Metrocom for 2023 Throughout 2023, cities around the Northeast San Antonio Metrocom have seen Italian restau- rants and pizzerias gaining popularity. Staying local While many chain pizzerias opened during the year, a new locally owned Italian restaurant of pizzeria opened during seven out of the 12 months in 2023. Noli’s Vite Italian Restaurant and Capo’s Pizza are expansions to the area, while the owners of Bella Sera Italian Restaurant, Grampie’s Pizzeria and Axe- shack celebrated the opening of their first locations.
Noli’s Vite Italian Restaurant The Italian restaurant opened a new location in Cibolo in Dec. 2022. The restaurant first opened in New Braunfels in 2019 with the goal of serving authentic Italian recipes with fresh ingredients. Capo’s Pizzeria The pizzeria celebrated the opening of the sixth location in the San Antonio area. The new location in Universal City shares a building with JT’s Sports Bar and Grill.
