Huynh said. “They need to take the wrapped bouquet, so that’s why I did it.” A closer look Besides being a romantic gesture, Huynh also believes owers can speak on behalf of people. While some people tell her owers are a waste of money, Hunyh disagrees. “I tell them the ower is not just decor,” she said. “It will show o the love and the care between people. When we grow up, we go to work a lot and we don’t have time to tell our moms, ‘I love you.’ But by giving one bouquet to her, she will know.” She said in a society where everyone works a lot, owers can do the talking that we often neglect.
The couple took over the business in August 2023.
Vietnam and wanted to do something similar after moving to the United States. She got the opportu- nity in 2023, when a orist whose shop had been open since 1992 retired. When Huynh and her husband took over the shop in 2023, they incorporated several of the concepts she had used in Vietnam into the store, including wrapped bouquets. She said the bouquets are very popular right now and that they serve a practical purpose. “When men ask, ‘Will you marry me?’ or ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’, they cannot take the vase,”
