Election

BY TOMER RONEN

Fort Bend County Judge Republican Daryl Aaron Occupation & Experience: 35 years U.S. Army:

Fort Bend County Judge Democratic

If elected, what will be your top priorities? Grow revenue without raising tax rates: navigator, shop local, forge, foodie park, cook for a cause, best value contracting. Make spending visible: budget box, county in progress, [incident reporting management]. Build resilience: WATT Works, a published drainage schedule and fully staffed essential departments as revenues grow.

If elected, what will be your top priorities? Bring integrity and transparency back to the county; stop the budget deficits and “right size” the budget; stop casually using eminent domain; review all infrastructure plans; review all homeland security plans; address the veterans service’s deficiencies; address the concerns of animal rights groups. Priorities: Fiscal responsibility, debt reduction and tax mitigation for Fort Bend families. We’ll implement transparent budgeting practices and eliminate wasteful spending. With integrity at the core of my leadership, I’m committed to restoring public confidence through accountable governance that puts taxpayers first and ensures every county dollar is spent wisely. My priorities are public safety, county growth initiatives that attract new businesses, balancing and reducing the budget, auditing departments, reviving stalled infrastructure projects and funding community organizations so our courts and judges continue serving residents effectively.

I believe in practical, people-focused solutions that protect residents today while preparing Fort Bend for tomorrow.
