Hays Trail, Buda Camp Invention is a program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame and a nationally acclaimed summer program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Texas State University’s Department of Health and Human Performance has hosted the camp since 2010. Camp counselors assist campers in daily arts, crafts and games as well as physical and therapeutic recreation. Campers are given an environment where they can nurture their motor and social skills in a friendly, noncompetitive atmosphere.
