U.S. House District 24 primary heads to May 26 runo election
With all precincts reporting statewide, several November general election matchups are set, with one race also heading to a May runo election. What you need to know In the Democratic primary for U.S. House District 24, which includes Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake, there will be a May 26 runo between Kevin Burge and TJ Ware. The winner of the runo will face incumbent Beth Van Duyne in the November election. Incumbent Tim O’Hare won the Republican primary for the Tarrant County Judge seat. O’Hare will face the winner of the Democratic primary, Alisa Simmons, for the position in the November general election. In the Republican primary for Texas House District 98, Armin Mizani defeated Fred Tate and Zdenka “Zee” Wilcox. Mizani will face the Demo- cratic primary winner Cate Brennan, who defeated Aaron Hendley, in the November general election.
