Why are you running for office?

I’m running because our district needs clear direction and strong policies that protect students, support teachers and create stability as we grow. Celina deserves a trustee who shows up, listens, communicates openly and stays engaged not just during controversy, but consistently. I aim to preserve Celina’s unique character, especially its outstanding school system. I want to learn from and continue the work of the current school board, analyzing both their successes and challenges, to ensure the ISD’s continued growth and success.

I’m running for re‑election because Celina ISD is home. As a single mom who raised my son here, I’ve seen firsthand the impact strong schools and faith-filled traditional values have on a child’s future. I’m committed to protecting what makes Celina exceptional—partnering with parents, supporting students and ensuring our teachers... Why are you running for office? My priorities include increasing parent involvement, engaging and supporting teachers, and ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed. I will protect community values, advocate for safe learning environments and make sure growth is managed responsibly so Celina ISD continues delivering excellence in both academics and extracurricular programs. What would your top priorities be if you are elected?

My priority is to learn from the experience of current board members, whose guidance has shaped our successful ISD. While change is important, I believe in respecting the current system’s strength and striving to build on its foundation for continued excellence.

Celina ISD is entering a critical growth phase. With over 30 years of executive leadership experience, I know how to plan responsibly, manage budgets, and build infrastructure that lasts. I’m running to ensure our district grows strategically while protecting students, supporting teachers and maintaining financial stability.

I am running because Celina families deserve a trustee with no conflicts, no side interests and one focus: every child is safe and receives an excellent education. I grew up here, I am raising my family here, and I believe this community deserves transparent, accountable leadership that puts students first.

Responsible growth planning, financial stewardship, campus safety and strong governance. My priority is ensuring facilities, staffing and budgets keep pace with enrollment while maintaining academic excellence. Clear communication and accountability will guide every decision, so our district remains stable and prepared for the future.

Student safety and clear campus policies, stronger parent partnership through open communication and real feedback channels, curriculum accountability aligned to state standards and transparent leadership that explains every vote in plain language. I want every Celina family to feel heard, informed and confident their children are in good hands.
