Always Patsy Cline @ Dosey Doe-The Big Barn

The Patsy Cline tribute “Always Patsy Cline” featuring Kelley Peters is performing at the Dosey Doe-The Big Barn on March 22. What drew you to the genre you play? The universal outreach and collective connection drew me to the music and impact of Patsy Cline. ... I have always had a passion for country, western swing and rockabilly music, but I believe Patsy Cline extends way beyond that box. Is there a song in your catalog that feels especially personal?

Patsy’s “Crazy,” written by Willie Nelson, de nitely strikes a chord with me. I can completely empathize and be present in those words I’m singing, because I know how that roller coaster feels. Where do you hope your music takes you in the long run? I hope that my music helps me continue to be an open, empathetic and vulnerable human being. • March 22: Patsy Cline tribute, 7 p.m. • 25911 I-45, Spring • www.doseydoetickets.com
