“We wanted to build a place where families can come with their kids that has really chill vibes where they can relax,” Luther said. “A backyard barbecue vibe where parents can have an adult beverage while their kids explore and be kids.” What’s special about it? Luther said he previously owned Up Inspired Kitchen in Frisco before selling the business in July 2021 after former McKinney City Council member Don Day approached him to open Stix Icehouse.
