The site is also home to a multifamily senior living complex called Amberlin Pflugerville, which when complete will have 195 apartments and several amenities for residents. HIGHLIGHTS HUTTO City Council appointed Bill Zito Jr. as the city’s first emergency management coordinator Feb. 2. Zito’s responsibilities include coordinating activities related to the prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for major emergencies in Hutto. PFLUGERVILLE On Feb. 14,

PFLUGERVILLE A 98-acre single-family residential development coming to eastern Pfluger- ville will include approx- imately 375 residential units in a variety of lot sizes, such as single-fam- ily homes, townhomes and triplexes. Pflugerville City Council

on Feb. 14 approved the second reading of an ordinance annexing 105 acres into the city—98 for the development and another seven for right of way for planned road improvements. Called Meadowlark Pre- serve, the development will be located south of

Weiss High School near Lake Pflugerville. Developer Meadow- lark Preserve LLC will contribute funding to an expansion of Pflugerville Parkway that will run through the development. City officials will solidify more details at upcoming meetings.

May races set for Hutto City Council places 1, 4 HUTTO Filing for the May 6 election
