Le Emperor shares Vietnamese culture

Every night at 6 p.m., Jason Hoang sits down for dinner with his family—a ritual that denes his life as a family man and restaurant owner. Through his restaurant, Le Emperor, Hoang shares his family values, food and Vietnamese culture. A family aair Hoang was rst introduced to the restaurant industry in 2013 when his parents opened Little V Vietnamese Bistro in Katy. After working for sev- eral restaurants, in 2018, Hoang opened V Lotus in Sugar Land, followed by Le Emperor in 2024. Craving Vietnamese? Menu items include Hoang’s creations and fam- ily recipes, such as the pho and vermicelli dishes. “We o‹er fresh food made with love,” Hoang said. “Our recipes are passed down through generations in my family.”

Old fashioned beef stew ($19) is made with beef, onions, carrots and potatoes. It is slow-cooked in homemade broth.
