Developers alter plan for Grapevine townhomes During a joint meeting with the Grapevine City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission Jan. 20, both entities voted to approve amendments to a planned development overlay for The Reserve at Bear Creek, rst approved in 2018. What’s happening? Erica Marhonic, Grapevine’s director of planning services, said that Arizona-based developer BB Living is a prospective purchaser and has plans to nish the project. The developer requested a change to the proposed building elevations, reducing the height of the 69 townhomes from three stories to two stories. The presentation stated that some of the 13.6 acres have been developed, with a masonry wall surrounding the property and roads poured. According to the presentation, the townhomes will be sold individually rather than rented.
Southlake subdivision to get 6th home lot Nearly a year after initial approval, a housing development, Dove Ridge, in Southlake was revised to add an extra single-family residence. The details A request made by David Lewis from Spry Surveyors was to change the development from ve single-family residential lots to six on the 7.4-acre land. The change would remove one of the previously approved two open spaces. Dennis Killough, Southlake’s director of planning and development, said the developer had purchased 0.11 acres at 2117 E. Dove Road and is adding that into one of the open spaces and making a sixth lot.
1 TSA ConrmID launching Feb. 1 The Transportation Security Administration announced Dec. 1 that all passengers who do not present an acceptable form of identication and still wish to y will be able to pay a fee to use TSA ConrmID. Travelers can pay for a 10-day travel period as of Feb. 1. The TSA urges travelers who do not have a Real ID to schedule an appointment at their local DMV to update their ID, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. 3 Airport board approves revised contract for Terminal F expansion The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport board approved a $582 million contract for the Terminal F and Skylink Station Project, which is delivering the rst phase and centralized Skylink Station for the Terminal F expansion program. This additional work, a part of the estimated $4 billion plan, was approved at the Jan. 8 meeting. The revision does not impact the anticipated opening of Phase 1 of Terminal F in 2027.

A news release from the airport stated the access opened Dec. 19, earlier than planned. A new bridge to the terminal and associated roadway improvements were made. The southbound access will be nished in January, following the peak travel period.
