FEATURED IMPACT COMING SOON Popshelf representatives conrmed in a June 1 email that the retail store will break ground this summer for a Tomball-area location at the southwest corner of Hwy. 249 and Spring Cypress Road. The company said it was nalizing the due diligence phase as of June 1 for a Popshelf store, which will oer customers seasonal and home decor, health and beauty products, cleaning supplies and party goods at an aordable price. Approximately 95% of items are $5 or less, according to the company. The chain rst opened a location in Nashville in fall 2020 and has grown to 65 locations and 25 store- FEATURED IMPACT COMING SOON Audubon , a master-planned community in Magnolia at Hwy. 249 and FM 1488, sold 12 acres to Medistar Development to build three-story, garden-style apartments, the community announced June 9. The apartments will include 300 units with construction anticipated to start at the end of 2022 and residents moving in during the rst quarter of 2024. The apartments will have gas appliances and amenities including a pool, a tness center, a business center, outdoor grilling areas, charging stations for electric vehicles and a connection to a trail system. A construction timeline was not provided. www.quicknclean.net 12 Colliers International Group Inc. announced in a June 3 news release that 1.04 acres at 1301 Rudel Road, Tomball was sold to Red Grip LLC for an 8,200-square-foot Grip Batting Experience facility, which will provide a training experience for pitchers and hitters within softball and baseball. The facility will also be open for general public tournament play and home run derbies. An opening date is unknown.
