Wills Gastropub announced the acquisition and renovation of McKinney Coffee Company, the restaurant’s sister concept, on Dec. 1. The former coffee shop’s 1,200-square-foot space has been converted into additional seating for 60 guests of the gastropub as well as a private event space and an additional bar, according to a news release. The creation of the rentable private space comes after “frequent requests” to use the former coffee shop space for private events, E.J. Wills Gastropub Owner Joy Booth said in the release.
