The money will be for construction of Terminal F, the renovation of Terminal C and other modernization projects, according to a news release. The expansion on Terminal C will create a pier between it and Terminal A. There will be 24 new gates added between both projects, according to the airport. HIGHLIGHTS GRAPEVINE A new roof for the Grapevine Municipal Service Center was purchased May 2. It sustained damage during a tornado event Dec. 13. About 95 city employees were displaced after the building, located at 1 Shady Brook Drive, had damage to its interior walls, furniture and computers. It also had water damage from the rain that came through the roof after the tornado. More than 60% of the roof was damaged during the storm, according to a presentation given by Director of Public Works Bryan Beck.

TARRANT COUNTY Commis- sioners voted in favor of Vince Puente Sr. as the nominee to become the chair for the Tarrant Appraisal District. The commissioners repre- sented each county taxing entity, meaning 515 votes were awarded to Puente. He
races during the May 6 election. The city of Colleyville also had a proposition on the ballot that passed with more than 84% of votes in support of law enforcement. Grapevine City Council Incumbents Chris Coy and Du O’Dell won their individual races for Grapevine City Council Place 5 and Place 6, respectively. Grapevine-Colleyville ISD A.J. Pontillo, Dianna Sager and Mary Humphrey won contested races for the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD board of trustees. None of the three races had an incumbent. Carroll ISD Incumbent Eric Lannen won re-election to Place 2 on the Carroll ISD board of trustees with 87.04% of the vote. City of Colleyville Colleyville residents renewed the Colleyville Crime Control and Prevention District for 20 years with 4,888 votes for the proposition, or 84.64%. Votes against the proposi- tions reached 15.36% with 887 votes. Established in 1991, the district supports crime control and preven- tion programs throughout the city. A sales tax of $0.005 was approved to support the district for an initial period of ve years.
