The city of Richardson’s population continued to grow slightly between 2017 and 2022, increasing by more than 1.7%, despite Dallas County’s population decline, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau. During the same time period, the city’s population has continued to diversify. The majority of the city is located in Dallas County with the northern portion located in Collin County.
