The project will also include a turn lane and the reconstruction of ditches. Update: Construction began in October, Pascua confirmed Nov. 6. • Timeline: October 2025-fourth quarter of 2026 • Cost: $5.9 million • Funding sources: Montgomery County 2025 Road Bond, Precinct 4 Commissioner’s Office 4 Sorters Road widening (Segment 2) Project: Sorters Road will be widened from two to four lanes between North Bentwood Channel and Northpark Drive. The project will also include a turn lane and the reconstruction of ditches. 2 Valley Ranch Parkway, FM 1314 turn lane Project: The existing median on the north side of the intersection of Valley Ranch Parkway and FM 1314 will be removed, and a left-turn lane for motorists traveling southbound from Valley Ranch Parkway onto FM 1314 will be constructed. Update: Construction began the first week of November and is expected to wrap up before Thanksgiving (after press time Nov. 21), Pascua confirmed Nov. 6.
