Müv Dance and Fitness Studio builds connections Family-owned business Müv Dance and Fitness fosters a community-centered dancing environ- ment for all. The backstory studio has four dance companies, which compete nationally and internationally. What’s special about it?
The studio oers an estimated 180 classes per week, including jazz, hip-hop and contemporary classes.
Co-owner David Anderson said the studio works to develop the student as a whole, not just their dancing techniques. “We don’t ever want to make the trophy more important than the people that are walking through our doors,” he said. A family aair All three of the Andersons’ daughters own and work at the studio as well. With experience cheer- ing for sports teams and dancing in music videos, the family shares a lengthy dance repertoire.

Co-owner Tracey Anderson created the studio after retiring from Leander High School, where she was hired to work in 1989 by Principal Charley Rouse. After hosting a dance workshop, Anderson was inspired to create Müv Dance and Fitness.
