Turtle Race 5K & Kids 1K Family Fun Run Hosted by the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, the annual community-focused fundraising event allows participants to purchase tickets for numbered plastic turtles. These turtles are released into a watercourse, and the first to cross the finish line wins.
