Lewisville ISD implements $112.5M in campus repairs In addition, the board of trustees approved $2.6 million for a roof replacement at Timber Creek

The Lewisville ISD board of trustees approved guaranteed maximum prices for improvements across eight campuses, totaling $112.5 million, at a Feb. 9 board meeting. The overview The renovations, which are funded through the 2023 and 2024 bonds and land sale funds, are a part of the 20-year life cycle maintenance and repair projects to improve older campuses. Trustees discussed the guaranteed maximum prices for the renovations at the Feb. 2 meeting, with the approved prices for the campuses being: • $18.3 million for Flower Mound Elementary • $16.4 million for Hebron Valley Elementary • $34.2 million for Lewisville High School Killough • $16.8 million for Rockbrook Elementary • $15 million for Vickery Elementary

Lewisville ISD construction costs Lewisville ISD trustees voted to approve the construction costs at the Feb. 9 board meeting.

Elementary and $5.9 million for softball and baseball locker room additions at Flower Mound High School and $3.3 million for baseball locker room additions at Marcus High School. LISD Executive Construction Director Randy Fite noted that the Flower Mound Elementary School renovations were about $1.7 million over budget and the Lewisville High School Killough project was roughly $2.8 million under budget. “I would commend the design team, we had a lot of design meetings,” Fite said. “The budget for LHS Killough is very large, and so small things that you can do to save money just add up more on a very large project.” Looking ahead The 20-year maintenance for campuses will begin this summer and be completed after the summer of 2027, per district documents.
