Western Flower Mound to get 300 apartments Flower Mound Town Council approved a 300-unit apartment complex during its Feb. 16 meeting. The complex will be located in the 237-acre mixed-use development, Brookview, which is located in western Flower Mound. What you need to know The proposed site plan includes four, four- story apartment buildings and 488 on-site parking spaces, according to town documents. Dallas-based developer Trinsic Residential Group designed the complex, which will sit on around 10.76 acres in Brookview. Per the submitted site plan, the complex’s amenities will include: • A tness center • A dog park

Commissioners vote no on Lakeside hotel The Flower Mound Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of a hotel within the Lakeside mixed-use development Feb. 9 due to parking concerns. The details Nic Ready, a development associate at Realty Capital, Lakeside’s developer, said a Residence Inn with 138 rooms would have been built. There is no date set for council consideration.
