The menu is prepared by Joseph Galindo, who worked in some of Austin’s ne dining restau- rants, such as Perla’s, Lamberts and Jerey’s. From the food to the cocktail menu, many of Cruzteca’s oerings are modied family recipes. “Our menu touches on dierent regions of Mexico: the interior, the Pacic coast, the Yucatán Peninsula,” Galindo-Winters said. “We have a little bit of everything.”

Cruzteca and food truck Mellizoz Tacos are a family legacy, Tony Galindo said, and he looks forward to future generations potentially taking over. Adam Winters said it’s been fun to watch their customers grow with them.
