Katy and Lamar Consolidated ISDs have several ongoing development projects expected to wrap up by 2028. The projects include several schools as well as a career and technology center. Construction, which began in spring 2025, is 70% complete. • Cost: $36.2 million • Funding source: 2022 bond • 31031 Tamarron Parkway, Fulshear 2 Brenda Myska Dresner Middle School The new LCISD middle school is slated to open in the Fulshear area in fall 2027 after construction wraps up in spring 2027. Construction, which began last winter, is 3% complete. • Cost: $41.8 million • Funding source: 2022 bond • 32820 Tiger Run Blvd., Brookshire 3 Debbie Urbanski Junior High School The new LCISD junior high is slated to open in the Fulshear area in fall 2027 after construction wraps up in summer 2027. Construction, which began last winter, is 6% complete.
