Additionally, the owners look forward to expanding the restaurant’s menu and growing its customer base. The menu will have more appetizers, main courses, desserts and fresh juice options. Steitieh said in the future, they hope to expand by opening Rumaan locations in South Austin and North Central Austin. “We’d love to see you here,” Alsukhni said. “We promise you quality food and service at very reasonable prices—anybody who has tried our food has been extremely happy with the experience, so I think we just need to spread the word and reach out to more people.”

Alsukhni founded the Cedar Park restaurant because the area did not have any Mediterranean options. The eatery—which opened Feb. 7—occupies the patio front of Lakeline Mall, where Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant was located. Steitieh said Rumaan’s authentic food sets it apart from other establish- ments. The family-owned restaurant uses homemade recipes mastered by Alsukhni’s wife, Jumana, who is the chef. “I’m passionate about the food, I’m passionate about the quality, the presentation of it,” Steitieh said. “All of that [makes us] unique from
