Hutto’s baked’nsconed serves handmade treats

The bakery oers customized cakes, cookies and cupcakes.

The menu also includes breakfast sandwiches, paninis and salads, and several coee drinks. The present Anders said one of the biggest challenges she faced in recent years is food price ination. “It’s been hard to keep up with ... Some things haven’t changed much, like coee, but for others, it felt like I had to keep changing prices every few days,” Anders said. Quote of note “It’s peaceful, there’s no loud music, it’s calm, service is quick. This is what Hutto is all about,” said Claire Appleton, who’s been a baked’nsconed customer for three years.

Owner Tiany Anders opened Hutto-based treat shop baked’nsconed with her family in 2013. Before that, the Texas native was a pastry chef at Bistro M in McAllen, where she rst began experimenting with scone recipes. “When we rst got to Hutto, there was nothing really here in terms of restaurants. But because of that, I was able to build relationships with the city, catering with the police and re department and with the schools,” Anders said.
