The most recent real estate data from the Four Rivers Association of Realtors showed homes under contract and the number of new listings—when compared between December 2021 and December 2022—decreased in Buda and Kyle but ticked up in San Marcos. Throughout Hays County, the median home price went up 5.5% to $427,700 in that same time frame.
