South Belt Line Road enters next phase Construction continues to progress in Coppell along South Belt Line Road with two-way traffic moving into the northbound travel lanes. Crews began construction on the south- bound travel lanes Dec. 18. The project is expected to be completed in June. Two-minute impact Construction is planned for the southbound lanes along South Belt Line Road between Dividend Drive and I-635, which is included in the project’s third phase. The project between Dividend Drive and I-635 includes the incorporation of left-turn lanes, driveways, and a new traffic signal at the intersection of Hackberry Road and South Belt Line Road.

Road work planned for Old Town Lewisville Nine roads near Old Town Lewisville will be repaired after Lewisville City Council approved a revised contract. The details The $766,413 project calls for an 18-month project design, followed by 18 months of construction. The
project is expected to start in 2025 and end in 2026. The funding will come from the capital project fund, according to city documents. Zooming in The project’s revised scope removes the street design, replaces utility lines, makes drainage improvements and rebuilds existing sidewalks to meet Americans with Disabilities Act-noncom- pliance standards. Existing culverts will also be upgraded. The nine streets are in the northwest Old Town area.
