The Round Rock-based camp announced last July it would relocate to a roughly 20-acre site at 3503 Kelly Lane, in Pflugerville. Pflugerville City Council approved a specific-use permit for outdoor commercial recreation and entertainment at a May 10 meeting. The permit will allow Camp Doublecreek to hold entertainment activities and games in an outdoor setting. Camp Doublec- reek’s Pflugerville location will open sometime in 2023.
