Leander residents will soon have another option for health care in their city. Family First Express Care—a joint venture of Cedar Park Regional Med- ical Center and Premier Health—is scheduled to open in late summer at 1295 US 183, Ste. 101, Leander. The urgent care clinic will treat patients age 3 months and older and provide treatment for minor acci- dents and illnesses. Clinicians specializing in urgent care will sta the new clinic that will contain advanced technologies, such as digital X-rays and electronic medical records. A groundbreaking event for the facility took place Sept. 4, with the Leander and Cedar Park chambers of commerce present. The clinic was originally scheduled to open in January, but construction delays and the coronavirus pandemic pushed the opening back at least six months, according to clinic
