A new Baylor Scott & White Surgicare center is set to open in early 2023 at 905 E. Southlake Blvd., next to Baylor Scott & White Family Medicine-Southlake. It will oer outpatient surgical pro- cedures, according to Matt Olivolo, Baylor Scott & White marketing and public relations consultant. “With more than 17,000 square feet of space available in the surgery center, there is the potential to add additional operating rooms over time to respond to the community’s needs,” Olivolo said in a statement. The center will have four operating rooms. Patients will have access to procedures in a number of dierent areas, including gastrointestinal, orthopedic and pain management.

Grapevine hospital adds new procedures

The hospital is also oering a minimally “invasive, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy procedure,” according to a statement from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Grapevine. The hospital will also be starting a new program in June to give patients diagnosed with a lung nodule or lesion a comprehensive assessment and plan of care from specialists. The hospital is also planning to expand its Sterile Processing Depart- ment, which will include increasing the size of two existing operating rooms, according to the hospital.
