A new private indoor golf club is coming soon to the Westlake area in late 2026, according to a Jan. 29 news release. The details Known as The Mackenzie Club, the new 33,000-square-foot facility near Bee Cave Road will bring year-round golf opportunities, with oerings such as: • Eight Trackman simulator suites
The background The club comes from Dave Rogenmoser, an Austin native and entrepreneur. “We created The Mackenzie Club to be a second golf home, a place where friends across clubs can meet to practice their swing, unwind in a steam room, connect with business partners and enjoy a great meal, all under one roof,” Rogenmoser said in the news release. The club’s name pays homage to Dr. Alister MacKenzie, a British golf course architect. MacK- enzie was the mind behind Augusta National Golf Course, notable for hosting the annual Masters Tournament, according to its website. The three-story club is designed by Michael Hsu Oce of Architecture. The club is accepting applications ahead of membership enrollment later this year, according to the news release.
